The power of the people

For those of you who think all I do is fly in helicopters and take selfies of my socks, you’re only partly right. The truth is I’ve been working like a dog (and as sick as one too) since I helicoptered out of Monaco after the Yacht Show.

Bonjour La mer!

Of course I’m not looking for sympathy, but I literally haven’t excersised since the magic last day of the magic London to Monaco Ride either. And I miss everything about riding across France with those people who rocked up to the Palace of Monaco to raise money for the Blue Marine Foundation two weeks ago. But I miss the people more than anything else. I just wish I had photos of everyone!

So, instead of doing my normal (however late) ride recap (for days 9 and 10) I just want to send sincere shout outs to every single person who I had the sincere pleasure of meeting, riding with, joking with, drinking coffee with, wearing matching kit with, acting like a rock star with in the clubs of Monaco, getting public massages with, eating jambon fromage sandwiches on amazing turn-offs in Provance, and just “being” with on those wonderful days in late September that I’m so grateful to be able to be there for.

This is the definition of a security blanket and simply the best photo ever taken.
