I test sailed the MD 35 off Newport a while back. But I’ve been absolutely up to my eyeballs working to get the new sailmagazine.com launched. I haven’t had time for anything else. But it’s up and running now, and I can finally get back to the fun stuff like testing boats. This narrow beam, performance daysailer has a deep torpedo bulb keel, so it’s a different animal than the other big daysailers out there (M36, 42, Alerion 28, 33, 36, Friendship 40, etc.), and it was pretty fun to sail. But unfortunately the heavier kite was left on the dock, so we didn’t actually get it up to double digit speeds down wind. However, she went to weather like a witch.
