Some might say that there couldn’t be a more mismatched pairing of companies than the iconic, aggressive, ultra-American Cigarette Racing Team, and the sophisticated, refined, buttoned-up, and ever-so-German sports car manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. But you only have to take one look at the latest result of their collaboration to see they are actually a match made in horsepower heaven.
The latest and most muscular powerboat model to come from their long-standing partnership–the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept–was launched earlier this year. It’s billed as the maritime incarnation of the new Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car, and that hardly seems to be an exaggeration.
