Cycling To The Monaco Yacht Show Is Challenging, Good For The Planet (And You), And Most Of All, Fun

A diverse team of bike riders that’s participating in the London to Monaco charity bike ride is halfway to Monaco. In fact, since I’m writing this post with the sore muscles and sunburned face of a London Monaco rider from my hotel room in Macon, France, I guess I can say “we” (a group of about 40 riders and 17 support staff) are halfway there.

And “we” are “here” in Macon simply because the team of passionate cyclists and conservationists at the London-based Winch Design firm wanted to attack the problem of overfishing in a creative and cool way.

So they’re doing things a little differently than you’d expect from a firm that specializes in designing superyacht, private aviation, and residential interiors for high-net worth clients. And they’ve partnered with their long-term charity, Blue Marine Foundation, to make a big splash at the Monaco Yacht Show that takes place from September 28-Oct 1.

Actually, the plan is to make a big splash on the way to Monaco too.
