I’m taking the video camera on all my boat tests so you can SEE how the boat sails, and how the deck and accommodations plans work, (as well as read about the results in the printed magazine). I test drove the Beneteau 31 late last summer. Overall, the sailing performance in 8-12 knots of breeze on flat water was good and my report appears in the October issue of SAIL. But the cool thing about this and upcoming video boat tests is that you can see for yourself. My hope is to be both informative and maybe even a bit entertaining.
